As it revamps its website, the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is seeking volunteers for user testing to ensure easier navigation and access to information.
The DEQ has developed a revised website navigation structure based on feedback from nearly 600 survey responses and is now asking for others to test the new draft navigation. The testing involves completing ten simple search tasks from a drop-down navigation menu. Some examples include: “Find the Stormwater Management Handbook” and “Locate contact information for [your regional] DEQ Office.”
The testing takes less than five minutes to complete and will help DEQ gain an understanding of how the website can better serve its users.
